A New Card finally!

My DS and DIL had their 8th wedding anniversary in August, and this is the card that I made for them. Of course I CASED it, what were you expecting :-) from HERE. I used just blue and white cardstock, the colors of their wedding.
Tim Holtz has a new product out called Distressed Stickles, and I added it to the flower, after the ink was dry. It gives it a shine...that you can't see, and a texture. The flower is from Stampin' Up! and everything else is mostly done with my Big Shot. As you can see, I used a swirly design texture plate for the bottom mat, and then I used the Swiss dots one for the strips.
That's all for today, I have to go make a bunch of Thank You cards, but I will post again soon, as I have another one to show you, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Especially because it was a birthday card for my BFF, who is a Stampin' Up! demo, and does gorgeous cards...oh, the pressure was on!
Thanks for stopping by

  1. There you are Connie! Whew...thought the hobgoblins had carted you away for sure! Your card is so pretty - love the soft shade of blue with the white dotted swiss! Great card - your family will love it! Hope things are well with you. Haven't talked to you in so long. Our friend with the burn injuries passed away a month ago, how is your friend doing? Take care, and get out here a bit more often, 'kay??? {{{Big Hugs}}}!
