Tim Holtz has a new product out called Distressed Stickles, and I added it to the flower, after the ink was dry. It gives it a shine...that you can't see, and a texture. The flower is from Stampin' Up! and everything else is mostly done with my Big Shot. As you can see, I used a swirly design texture plate for the bottom mat, and then I used the Swiss dots one for the strips.
That's all for today, I have to go make a bunch of Thank You cards, but I will post again soon, as I have another one to show you, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Especially because it was a birthday card for my BFF, who is a Stampin' Up! demo, and does gorgeous cards...oh, the pressure was on!
Thanks for stopping by

There you are Connie! Whew...thought the hobgoblins had carted you away for sure! Your card is so pretty - love the soft shade of blue with the white dotted swiss! Great card - your family will love it! Hope things are well with you. Haven't talked to you in so long. Our friend with the burn injuries passed away a month ago, how is your friend doing? Take care, and get out here a bit more often, 'kay??? {{{Big Hugs}}}!
